Estimate guideline child support under the Texas Family Code, including multiple-family adjustments.

Important: This tool gives a rough guideline estimate under Texas law. It is not legal advice, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and is not an official court or Attorney General calculation. Texas also has caps and adjustments that may change your real support amount, especially for high income or multiple-family situations.
If checked, enter your gross monthly income below. The calculator will estimate net resources at about 75% of gross income as a rough rule of thumb. For a precise number based on your taxes, you should talk with an attorney.
Only needed if you checked “I only know my gross monthly income.” Otherwise, you can leave this blank.
Net resources is income after certain taxes and deductions. This is usually less than gross pay. If you’re using the gross income option, you can leave this blank and we’ll estimate net for you.
Children covered by this specific support order.
Include children you are legally obligated to support with another parent, such as children you pay child support for under another order or children who primarily live with you. Texas uses “multiple family” guidelines to reduce the percentage when you support children in more than one household.
We’ll still show the core monthly amount, plus an approximate weekly and biweekly breakdown.
