Set a home base

Coordinate support with one method: a fixed monthly travel credit, proportional reimbursement by income, or the traveling parent covers airfare while base support stays unchanged.

Handoffs and connection

Require specific airports, text confirmations at takeoff and landing, and backup plans for delays, plus documentation of medications and essential papers. Keep connection up with weekly video calls and a shared photo portal, and use a shared folder with a 30-day reimbursement deadline for receipts.
